For existing clients, you can book an appointment for your client or email them your scheduler — all within their project!
In this article:
Book an appointment for a client
If you know what appointment date and time works for you and your client, schedule an appointment on behalf of your client.
Go to Projects and select your client’s project.
Click on the Appointments tab.
Click on Schedule Appointment >> Use Existing Scheduler Template.
Select the preferred scheduler template.
Click Add. The scheduler template is now added to the client’s Pending tab.
Click Open on the scheduler that was just added.
Choose an appointment for your client. A confirmation email will send to your client.
Confirmation email
The confirmation email you set in the scheduler will send to the client as soon as you book the appointment. To edit, go to Templates >> Scheduler >> Advanced.
If no confirmation email is chosen in the scheduler, the default email will send. Edit the default email in Templates >> Canned Emails >> Edit Templates >> Appointment Confirmed.
Send the scheduler to the client
Instead of booking an appointment for your client, email the scheduler itself so your client can choose a time that works for them.
Go to Projects and select your client’s project.
Click on the Appointments tab.
Click on Schedule Appointment >> Use Existing Scheduler Template.
Select the preferred scheduler template.
Click Add. The scheduler template is now added to the client’s Pending tab.
Click Send on the scheduler that was just added. An email draft will appear.
Edit the email body then click Send.
Edit the default email in Templates >> Scheduler.
FAQ
If I click “New Scheduling Request”, will the scheduler save as a template?
Yes! To save as a template in Templates >> Scheduler, check the Save scheduler as template box then click Save.
Does “Add Appointment” book an appointment for my client?
No. Add Appointment only schedules an appointment on your calendar — your client won’t get an appointment confirmation. To make an appointment for your client, see above.
