Dubsado allows you to collect an electronic signature from your clients with our contracts and sub-agreements. Many governments, including the United States, have adopted laws that make electronic signatures as legally enforceable as traditional signatures. Depending on the laws in your area, you may be required to include certain language in your contract stating that the signing parties agree to the use of electronic signatures.

Dubsado's e-signatures are dated and once a contract or sub-agreement has been signed, it will lock so that no further changes can be made to the document.

We recommend consulting a legal professional in your area if you have any questions regarding contract language or compliance with local laws regarding e-signatures.
