Your affiliate dashboard shows how your referrals are doing and what you've earned. To open it, click your workspace logo in the top left corner of your screen, then click Affiliate dashboard.
Read your dashboard
Your dashboard is split into a few areas:
Referral Link and Promo Code: copy either with one click. Click the pencil icon to edit your link. See Join the Dubsado affiliate program.
Trials started: people who started a free trial through your link or code.
Converted: referrals who became paying customers.
Pending payout: rewards you've earned that are still in the holding period.
Rewards: your current tier, what you earn per referral, the discount your referrals get, and the holding period.
Bonuses: active and completed challenges. Filter by All, Available or Completed.
Payouts: every reward, with its Date, Referral, Referral email, Type, Status and Amount.
How a referral becomes a payout
Each referral moves through the same steps on its way to a payout.
Someone clicks your link. We remember the click for 90 days. If they click another affiliate's link before starting a trial, the last link they clicked gets the credit.
They start a trial. From this point the account belongs to you. No other affiliate can get credit for it, even with a different code.
They subscribe. You earn your tier's reward, and it shows as Pending in Payouts.
They stay on a paid plan for 60 days. Once the 60-day holding period passes, your reward is ready to pay. If they cancel within the hold, that reward is canceled.
We send your payout. Dubsado pays out eligible rewards through Dub once a month. The payout shows as Complete.
Set up payouts
You'll see a Set up payouts banner once you have a reward waiting. You only need to do this once.
Click Set up payouts on your dashboard.
Create your Dub account using the same email you use for Dubsado. A different email won't connect your Dub account to Dubsado.
Follow Dub's steps to add your bank or payout details and any required tax information.
Dubsado never sees or stores your bank details. Dub supports payouts in most countries; see Dub's list of supported countries. For more on how Dub sends payments, see How partner payouts work.
Bonuses
From time to time we run bonus challenges, such as extra cash for hitting a referral goal within a set window. Active challenges appear under Bonuses, with your progress. Bonus rewards appear in Payouts with the type Bonus.
Tiers
Your tier sets your reward and your referrals' discount. Moves to Partner or Expert partner are invite-only and made by the Dubsado team. Your dashboard updates to show your new tier, and your link keeps working.
FAQ
When do I get paid?
After a referral subscribes, your reward is held for 60 days. If they're still on a paid plan after that, it's included in the next monthly payout.
What happens if my referral cancels?
If they cancel during the 60-day holding period, that reward is canceled and shows as Canceled in Payouts.
Why do I need a Dub account?
Dub handles our affiliate payments. Your Dub account is where you add bank details and tax information, so Dubsado never stores them. Create it with the same email you use for Dubsado.
Is there a cap on earnings?
There's no cap on how much you can earn.
Why does my dashboard say "We couldn't load your affiliate details"?
Click Try again. If it keeps happening, email hello@dubsado.com.
