Spent some time with your trial and ready to sign up for a paid plan? Here's how to subscribe a workspace to Starter or Premier, update your payment method, and handle billing details like coupons, tax IDs, and receipts.
Subscribe a workspace
Only the workspace owner can see and manage billing. You can get to your billing settings by clicking your name in the bottom left corner of the page, and then navigating to Settings ➔ Billing.
Open the Billing page.
Under the Plans heading, find the workspace you want to subscribe to. Click Subscribe on its card.
In the Subscribe dialog, choose the Starter or Premier tab under Select a plan. Not sure which plan is right for your business? Each tier has its own plan card.
Pick the annual or monthly plan card.
Under Payment information, enter the Name on card and your card details. If you'd like your tax ID to appear on your Dubsado subscription invoices, select a Tax ID (optional) type and enter your Tax ID Number here too (see the FAQ below).
Review the Plan summary, which shows your Subtotal, any Discount, and the Total due today.
Click Subscribe to finish.
You can get a discount on your first month or year with a coupon code shared by someone in Dubsado's affiliate program. Have a link but don't see the coupon applied? See the FAQ below, or check out Share your Dubsado affiliate coupon code.
Once you subscribe, a receipt is emailed to you and your subscription invoices are available to download from the Billing history section further down the page. You can cancel anytime if your plans change.
Change your payment method
Your card is stored on file and charged on a recurring basis according to your plan. Update your payment information as soon as possible if you change credit cards, so you don't run into a disruption in service.
On the Billing page, find the Payment information card. If you already have a card saved, click Change payment method; if you don't have one yet, click Add payment method. Either way, enter the Name on card and your card details, optionally select a Tax ID (optional) type and enter your Tax ID Number, then click Save card.
FAQ
Is my subscription rate locked in?
Yes. As long as you keep your billing active, the price you pay for Dubsado won't change, even if Dubsado's prices do. If you resubscribe after cancelling or change your plan, you'll be subject to current rates.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan after subscribing?

I used an affiliate referral link to sign up but don't see a coupon applied at checkout.
Grab the coupon code from the link itself. It's the text that comes after the equals sign in the link. For example, the coupon code for the link dubsado.com/?c=affiliatecode is affiliatecode. Enter it in the coupon field in the Subscribe dialog.
I don't see an option to enter a coupon.
This happens for one of two reasons:
You've already used a coupon on a Dubsado subscription. Dubsado allows one lifetime affiliate coupon per customer, so the field won't appear again once you've used one.
You're subscribing a workspace other than your primary one. The coupon field only appears when you're subscribing your primary workspace.
Is it required to enter a tax ID?
No, it's optional. This is for customers who want their tax ID to appear on their Dubsado subscription invoices. Entering a tax ID does not affect your client-facing invoices. You can enter it during checkout or later by clicking Change payment method and using the Tax ID (optional) field.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes. A receipt is emailed from receipts@dubsado.com to the email address you use to log into Dubsado. Check your spam folder if you don't see it. You can also download any subscription invoice from the Billing history section.
Which payment methods are accepted for a Dubsado subscription?
Dubsado accepts major credit and debit cards. PayPal and direct bank transfers aren't supported for subscription payments.
Can I have different workspaces billed to two separate cards?
No. All your subscriptions bill to the single card you have on file.
If I add team members to my workspace, will they be able to access my billing information?
No. Only the workspace owner has access to billing settings.
