The Dubsado mobile app allows you to create new projects on the fly, so that your business can move as fast as you do!
Creating a new project
To create a new project in the mobile app, first head to the Projects tab.
There, tap the plus + icon in the top right corner of your screen.
Entering project details
After tapping the plus + icon, enter the details of your new project.
To create the new project, make sure to enter the following required details:
Project name
The project’s name can be anything, so choose something that makes sense to you and your process.
Don’t forget - in the mobile app, you can also choose an emoji to represent your new project!
Client
Tap the dropdown menu to select an existing client. Or, tap +New client in the dropdown menu to create a new client.
Project status
Choose an existing project status from the dropdown.
Note: new project statuses can only be created on the desktop site at this time.
If you’d like to enter additional project details during project creation, you can tap +Additional details to add Tags, and you can tap Add project dates to select project dates.
Project dates default to the current date, and the resulting calendar event defaults to Show this calendar event as Busy. You can scroll to the bottom of the page to alter the availability setting.
When you have finished entering your new project’s details, tap Create project at the bottom of your screen to create the project.
Adding a project from the Events tab
Want to check your availability before creating a new project? The Dubsado mobile app makes it easy to do so, since you can add a new project from the Events tab as well as the Projects tab.
From the Events tab, tap the plus + icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. Then, tap Create project to open a new project details screen.
