How do I edit my country and currency?

How to edit your country and currency in Dubsado, and what to do if your preferred currency isn't in the dropdown.

Written by Trevor

Set your country and currency so Dubsado charges clients and displays amounts correctly. Here's how to edit them, and what to do if your currency isn't listed.

Edit your country and currency

To edit your country and currency:

  1. Go to Settings ➔ Payments, or open Invoicing ➔ Payment settings.

  2. Find the Country and Currency card and click Edit.

  3. Select your country and currency from the Country and Currency dropdowns.

  4. Click Save.

Once you connect Dubsado Payments, your country and currency are locked and the Edit button is disabled. You can't change them while Dubsado Payments is connected, so set your country and currency before you connect.

Display a currency that isn't listed

If you don't see your country or currency listed, you can still display your preferred currency.

  1. Go to Settings ➔ Business Info.

  2. Scroll to the Locale & Currency section.

  3. In the Currency symbol override field, enter or paste the symbol you want to display, such as $, €, or £.

Business Info saves your regional settings automatically, and a live preview below the field shows how amounts will appear to your clients. Keep in mind this only changes the symbol that's displayed. It doesn't convert your amounts or change your underlying currency.
