Text hyperlink

Text links are simple and great for when you want to provide an extra resource for your client.

  1. Add a text box element to your form.

  2. Click the pencil icon or double click to edit.

  3. Enter the text that you would like to make into a hyperlink.

  4. Highlight the text.

  5. In the formatting toolbar, click the A icon.

  6. Click the link icon and select Link.

  7. Paste in the URL of your link.

  8. Check the box Open link in new tab if you’d like your link to open in a new browser tab. This will ensure your client doesn’t lose progress on their open form.

  9. Click Insert.


Button hyperlink

Button links are great for grabbing your client’s attention.

  1. Add a text box element to your form.

  2. Click the pencil icon or double click to edit.

  3. Position your cursor in the text box where you’d like the button to appear. Button links look best on their own line.

  4. In the formatting toolbar, click the A icon.

  5. Click the link icon and select Button.

  6. Paste in the URL of your link and enter the text you’d like to appear on the button.

  7. Check the box Open link in new tab if you’d like your link to open in a new browser tab. This will ensure your client doesn’t lose progress on their open form.

  8. Click Insert.

Get creative with image links!

  1. Add a text box element to your form.

  2. Click the pencil icon or double click to edit.

  3. Position your cursor in the text box where you’d like the image to appear.

  4. In the formatting toolbar, click the A icon.

  5. Click the picture frame icon and upload your image.

  6. Click on the image in the text box.

  7. Click the link icon.

  8. Paste in the URL of your link.

  9. Check the box Open link in new tab if you’d like your link to open in a new browser tab. This will ensure your client doesn’t lose progress on their open form.

  10. Click Insert.


FAQ

Can I edit the hyperlink after adding it?

You sure can! Just double click on your text box and then click on your link (text, button, or image). A menu will appear with options to:

  • open the link

  • change the link style (for text and button links)

  • edit the link

  • remove the link

Can I change the styling of my link?

Yes. Text links can be styled just like any other text. Just highlight the text and click the A icon in the formatting toolbar to change the color, alignment, and other settings.

Button links will follow your brand color. However, you can change the alignment. Highlight the button and use the alignment menu in the formatting toolbar.

Image links can be resized and aligned. To align an image link, position your cursor before the image in the text box. Then use the alignment menu in the formatting toolbar.
