The Home page in Dubsado serves as your central dashboard for tracking important business metrics, managing pending actions, monitoring recent activity, and accessing financial insights.

Home page overview and quick actions

The Home page is the first page you'll see when you log in to Dubsado. It's designed to give you a comprehensive snapshot of your workspace activity and provide quick access to the most important areas of your business.

The page uses a modular widget system that allows you to customize which sections appear and in what order. Each widget—such as Projects, Invoices, Tasks, and Reports—can be shown, hidden, or rearranged to match your workflow preferences.

Global search and quick actions

At the top of the Home page, you'll find powerful navigation tools to help you work more efficiently:

Global Search: Click the search bar that says Search projects or contacts... to open a search modal. This allows you to search across your entire workspace, including Messages, Tasks, Calendar, Files, Invoicing, Forms, Flows, Projects, and Contacts. The search also displays recently accessed projects for quick navigation.

Quick action buttons provide immediate access to create:

  • New Message: Start composing a new email

  • New Task: Open the tasks area and create a new task

  • New Project: Open the project creation modal

  • New Contact: Navigate to the contacts page to create a new contact profile

Waiting on You

The Waiting on You section displays immediate actions that require your attention in a horizontal scrollable carousel. Items are automatically sorted by date (newest first) and include:

  • Workflow Actions Requiring Approval: Flow actions configured to need your approval before sending

  • Contracts Needing Counter-Signature: Completed contracts requiring an owner signature before finalization

The carousel automatically loads more items as you scroll to the right. After you complete an action, the list refreshes and loads additional items automatically—this smart refresh feature ensures you always see the next set of items requiring attention.

To action items:

  • Approve a Flow Action: Click the Approve button on the Flow Action card to proceed with the action

  • Countersign a Contract: Click the Countersign button on the Contract card to apply your signature (the system automatically fills in your signature information from your user profile)

Recent activity tracking

Recently Visited

The Recently Visited section shows pages, projects, or threads you've accessed most recently within the workspace. This activity tracking feature helps you quickly return to areas you've been working on, with the newest visits appearing at the top.

Click on any listed item to navigate directly back to that page.

Recent Form Activity

The Recent Form Activity section displays forms completed by your clients, including Lead Capture Forms, Questionnaires, Proposals, and Contracts. Each entry shows the client who completed the action, the form type, and the associated project.

  • Click on any listed form entry to view the completed form

FAQ

I can't find certain sections within the Home page.

Check the Display settings menu in the top right corner of the Home page. The section may have been accidentally hidden. Click the eye icon next to the section name to make it visible again.

Alternatively, your assigned user role might be blocking you from see certain sections, since widgets are filtered based on your user role in the workspace. For example, Finance Reports are only visible to Admins, Owners, and Accountants. Contact your workspace administrator if you believe you should have access to additional widgets.
