If you have an existing PDF you want to share with clients, you can upload it as a read-only form template in Dubsado. Once uploaded, the PDF is available to apply to any project or send automatically through a flow.

Upload a PDF as a form template

PDF form templates are read-only β€” clients can view them but cannot fill them out or edit them. To upload a PDF as a form template:

  1. Navigate to Forms βž” Form templates.

  2. Click New Form Template.

  3. Select PDF from the list of form types.

  4. Click or drag a PDF file into the upload area.

    • The file must be under 8 MB.

  5. Click Create Template.

The file name cannot be changed after uploading. Name your PDF file as you want it to appear to your clients before you upload it.

You can also upload a PDF directly to a specific project instead of creating a template. For details, see Upload a PDF to a project.

Send a PDF as a form template

Once you have uploaded a PDF as a form template, it can be sent in the same manner as any other Dubsado form. Follow the same sending steps found within Send a proposal, questionnaire, or sub-agreement to send the PDF manually or via flow.
