How the Dubsado affiliate program works
You earn a $35 referral credit for every person who uses your code or link to sign up for a paid subscription and keeps it for at least 60 days.
Your referral gets a discount too. They'll get 20% off their first payment on a Starter or Premier plan. If they pay monthly, that's 20% off their first month. If they pay annually, it's 20% off their entire first year.
There's no limit to how many people can sign up with your code. Share it on social media, in an email, or on your website. For full rules and restrictions, see the affiliate terms and conditions.
The affiliate program is available on any plan, including the free trial. Only the workspace owner can access it.
Open your Affiliate Dashboard
Click your name in the bottom left of the sidebar to open the account menu, then select Affiliate Dashboard. This menu item is only visible to the workspace owner.
Create your affiliate code and link
On the Affiliate Dashboard, find the Sharing card. This is where you create the code and link you'll share with referrals.
Under My affiliate code, type a code that's unique to you.
If your first choice is already taken, try another one.
Click Save & Create link.
Once created, the card shows your My affiliate code (with a Copy button) and My affiliate link (with its own Copy button). Your affiliate link looks like dubsado.com/?c=yourcode.
Share whichever works best for you. When someone uses your link, your code applies automatically at signup, so they don't have to enter anything. If you share the code by itself, referrals enter it manually in the coupon code field on the subscription screen.
You can change your code later. Read on to see what happens when you do.
Editing your affiliate code
Click the code field (it shows a pencil icon) to enter edit mode, update your code, then click Save. Click Cancel instead to discard your changes.
Changing your affiliate code will also change your affiliate link. The previous code and link can still be used for signup discounts, but will no longer give you any referral credit.
Track your referrals
The Insights card on your Affiliate Dashboard shows how your referrals are converting. Each metric has a tooltip explaining what it measures.
Conversion rate: the percentage of referrals you've received credit for out of everyone who used your code.
Trial users: users who used your code to sign up for a free trial.
Pending users: users who used your code to sign up for a paid subscription within the last 60 days.
Total earnings: credit earned from users who signed up and kept their paid subscription for over 60 days.
Payouts and your available credit
The Available credit card on your Affiliate Dashboard shows your current credit balance.
By default, your affiliate credit is automatically applied to your next Dubsado subscription billing cycle. If you don't have an active subscription and your balance is over $100, you can request a payout by contacting the Customer Care team.
There's no time limit for when a referral needs to subscribe after clicking your link. They can stay on a free trial first, then subscribe to a paid plan later.
