Dubsado integrates with Google Meet, GoTo Meeting, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom to automatically generate a video conferencing link for your scheduled appointments! The link can then be sent in your appointment confirmation and reminder emails.

Connect Google Meet

Follow the instructions below on how to connect Google Meet to Dubsado:

  1. Go to Calendar > Calendar settings > Sync calendar to connect a Google calendar to Dubsado.

  2. After your Google calendar is synced to Dubsado, go to Settings > Integrations.

  3. Under Conferencing, click Connect.

  5. Select the calendar that you would like to use when creating conferencing links and click Finish setup.

Google Meet links will now be generated for any appointment with video conferencing! Check out our article on adding video conferencing to scheduler templates to get set up.

Connect GoTo Meeting, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom

Follow the instructions below on how to connect one of these video conferencing services to Dubsado:

  1. Go to Calendar > Calendar settings > Sync calendar to connect a calendar to Dubsado.

  2. After your calendar is synced to Dubsado, go to Settings > Integrations.

  3. Under Conferencing, click Connect.

  4. Click Enable Conferencing. A popup will appear for you to choose a connected calendar.

  5. Select the calendar that you would like to use when creating conferencing links and click Finish setup. At this point, 8x8 will now appear as your video conferencing service in Dubsado.

    • Heads up! As of October 2023, 8x8 is no longer supported by our integration software! See our FAQ for more information. Please continue with the steps below to complete the setup.

  6. Under Video conferencing settings, click Add conferencing services.

  7. A popup will appear to let you know that you're about to be redirected to Cronofy, a third-party integration app. Click Continue.

  8. A new tab will open where you can log in or create a Cronofy account. Log into Cronofy with the same email that you used to connect a calendar to Dubsado. If you are using a Google calendar, click Continue with Google instead of typing in an email and password.

  10. You’ll be prompted to log in to your chosen video conferencing account. Enter your login details.

  11. Go back to the tab where Dubsado is open and refresh the page.

  12. From the dropdown under Video conferencing settings, select the video conferencing you connected.

After you’ve connected a video conferencing to Dubsado, you can then add video conferencing links to your scheduler templates.

FAQ

My preferred video conferencing service isn’t an option in the settings

If you’re not seeing your preferred service in the dropdown, try one of the troubleshooting methods below:

  • Make sure your Cronofy account uses the same email as the email you used to connect a calendar to Dubsado.

  • If you connected a Google calendar to Dubsado, log in to your Cronofy account by clicking Continue with Google instead of typing in an email and password.

  • If you are logging into a Zoom account, use sign in with Google or sign in with Apple instead of typing in your email and password.

After connecting conferencing, will my schedulers automatically start adding conferencing links?

No, you are in full control over which schedulers will generate links for video conferencing. There are also some changes you'll need to make to your canned emails for appointment confirmations and reminders. To get set up, check out our article on adding video conferencing to a scheduler template.

Can I change my conferencing service?

Yes! Just return to Settings > Integrations and select a different service from the dropdown. If needed, you can click Add conferencing services and follow the steps above to connect a new account.

Am I able to leave 8x8 connected?

Unfortunately, if you leave 8x8 selected as your conferencing provider, any appointments booked will not generate a conferencing link. This is because we use Cronofy as our integration software to connect video conferencing and Dubsado. As of October 2023, Cronofy discontinued supporting 8x8, which means Dubsado is also not able to support the use of 8x8.

Please be sure to connect a video conferencing with either Google Meet, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.

Can I use more than one video conferencing service?

You may only have one video conferencing service active at a time, per brand. The service you select on the conferencing integration page will be used for all schedulers that have conferencing enabled in your brand.

Do I have to make a Cronofy account?

Yes. Our video integration is managed through Cronofy, which is also used to connect your calendar to Dubsado.

Although you’ll need an account, you don’t need to manage any changes in Cronofy other than in the Conferencing Services tab. You will still manage your calendar connection and scheduling inside Dubsado.
