These variables are added into any canned email, form, proposal, or contract and as soon as they are applied into a job or lead, they auto-fill with the correct information that applies to that client.  Here is what each autofill field means and does!

TEXT BOXES IN CONTRACTS, FORMS, and EMAILS:

JOB: 

  • Job Title {{job.title}} - The title of the job.
  • Job Start {{job.start | mediumDate}} - The starting date of the job.
  • Job Start Time {{job.start | shortTime}} - The starting time of the job.
  • Job End {{job.end | mediumDate}} - The ending date of the job.
  • Job End Time {{job.end | shortTime}} - The ending time of the job.
  • Address {{job.address | address}} - The job address that you set in the job side.

CLIENT:  

  • Full Name {{client.name}} - The first and last name of the main contact.
  • Email {{client.email}} - The email of the main contact on file.
  • First Name {{client.firstName}} - The first name of the main contact.
  • Last Name {{client.lastName}} - The last name of the main contact.
  • Alt Contact First {{client.altContact.firstName}} - The first name of alternate contact.
  • Alt Contact Last {{client.altContact.lastName}} - The last name of the alternate contact.
  • Phone {{client.phone}} - The phone number of the main contact.
  • Company Name {{client.company.name}} - The company name in the client profile.
  • Address {{client.address | address}} - The address of the main contact in the address book.
  • Shipping Address {{client.shippingAddress | address}} - The shipping address of the main contact in the address book.

INVOICE TOTAL: 

  • Invoice Total {{job.invoice | total}} - The total invoice amount. 
  • Invoice Remainder {{job.invoice | remainder}} - The remaining amount left on the invoice.
  • Invoice Amount Paid {{job.invoice | remainder}} - The total amount the client has paid on the invoice so far.
  • Invoice Item Names & Amounts {{job.invoice.items | packageItems:true}} - This is a list of what is in the invoice.  It is like a preview of the invoice. Example below:
  • Invoice Item Names {{job.invoice.items | packageItemNames}} - The names of the items you have on your invoice.  Using the example above, if we used this variable, it will only list Website Design and Discount since those are the titles / names of the package.
  • Invoice Payment Schedule {{paymentSchedule | paymentScheduleFilter}} - The payment schedule that you have set for your client on the invoice.  Perfect for adding into contracts.
  • Invoice Title {{job.invoice.title}} - If you have named the invoice, you can use this title variable to add that in.

LINK

  • Invoice Link {{job | invoiceLink}} - This is the link to the invoice.  Perfect for putting in a canned email so it is ready when you want to send an invoice.
  • Contract Link {{job | contractLink}} - This is the link to the contract.  Again, good for canned email so it is ready when you want to send an invoice.
  • Portal Link {{client | portalLink}} - This is the link to the client portal. 
  • Portal Password {{client | portalPassword}} - This is the password to the client portal.
  • Form Link {{form | formLink}} - This is the link to add to canned emails when you are ready to send forms, proposals, and sub contracts.  To learn how to send a form, CLICK HERE.

BUSINESS

  • Full Name {{user.name}} - This is your full name.
  • First Name {{user.contact.firstName}} - This is your first name.
  • Last Name {{user.contact.lastName}} - This is your last name.
  • Phone {{user.business.phone}} - This is your phone number you have in the account settings.
  • Logo  {{brand.logo | logo}}  - This is your business logo you uploaded in Dubsado.
  • Busines Name  {{brand.name}}  - This is the name of your business.
  • Business Address  {{brand.address | address}}  - This is the address you put in Dubsado.
  • Email Signature  {{brand.emailTemplate.signature}}  - This is your email signature that you have saved in TEMPLATES >> CANNED EMAILS >> SIGNATURE.

DATE 

  • Date & Time  {{ curDate | medium}} - Current date and time (ex:  Mar 10, 2017 11:15:22 AM and for international accounts ie. France  10 mars 2017 11:19:28 )
  • Medium Date  {{ curDate | mediumDate}} - Current date (ex:  Mar 10, 2017 and for international accounts ie. France  10 mars 2017  )
  • Short Date  {{ curDate | shortDate}} - Current date, shortened (ex:  3/10/17 and for international accounts ie. France 10/03/2017  )
  • Time  {{ curDate | shortTime}}  - Current time (ex:  11:17 AM  and for interntional accounts in 24 hour time input  11:20 )

FORM

  • Title {{form.title}} - If you are adding a form, this is the title of the form as you named it.
  • Form Link  {{form | formLink}}  - Again, this is the form button.
  • Form Type  {{form.kind}}  - Is it a questionnaire, sub-agreement, etc...

PAYMENT SCHEDULE (used for payment reminders)

  • Due Date  {{scheduledPayment | paymentDueDate}} - This is the payment schedule breakdown for your clients to see! 
  • Amount Due  {{scheduledPayment | paymentAmountDue}}  - This is what is due in that payment schedule.
