Have your clients upload files in a questionnaire, proposal, or lead capture form with the File uploader element.
You can upload most file types, as long as the file is under 8 MB per file. Files such as images, PDFs, documents, and gifs work well with the file uploader. Videos may not upload because most videos are large files over 8 MB.
Add a file uploader to your form
Open a form in Templates >> Forms and find the File uploader element. Click and drag it onto your form, or click it once to add it to the bottom of the form.
🚨 You will only see the File uploader element on questionnaires, proposals, and lead capture forms. The file uploader isn’t available on contracts or sub-agreements because these forms are designed to capture e-signatures.
After adding the file uploader to your form, click on the element in the form itself to adjust the settings.
Allow multiple files: Toggle to Yes to allow your client to upload multiple files. Toggle to No if you want your clients to only upload one file — to select a different file to upload, your client must first click the trashcan icon on the original file.
Allowed file types: You can either allow all file types or only images and gifs (PNG, JPG, or GIF).
Download uploaded files
Files uploaded by the client can be accessed by opening the completed form:
Go to Projects and select the client’s project.
Click on the Forms tab.
Hover over the form and click View.
Scroll down to where you added the file uploader to your form.
Click on each file. The file will open in a new tab or window.
Go to the new tab or window to download the file.
To save images, right-click on the image and click Save Image As.
