Using Smart Fields
When building your contract template, you can save time by using Smart Fields.
A smart field is a text placeholder that automatically fills in client or project information when a form or email is sent within a project.
For example, adding {{client.name}} to your contract template will automatically display the client's first and last name when the contract is sent within the project.
This makes your contracts truly "plug and play". Instead of manually updating client details, invoice totals, or other project-specific information, you can insert smart fields.

Sending your Contract
Open a project and locate the Contract dropdown to select a contract template. A preview will appear.
In the preview, click Add, then Send. An email draft window will open with the contract linked in the email body.
When the email draft window opens, you can either:
use the default "send contract" text, or edit manually
click the Bookmark Icon (ribbon) to load a canned email template
Click Send.
