You can log in to Dubsado with an email and password or with Google single sign-on (SSO). Your Name & Sign-in settings are where you update the name shown on your emails, change your login email or password, and control whether Dubsado sends you a copy of every email you send.
Getting to your Name & Sign-in settings
Click your name in the bottom left corner of your page to open the user menu, then click Settings. Settings opens on the Name & Sign-in page by default, or you can select Name & Sign-in from the settings sidebar (Settings ➔ Name & Sign-in).
Make Dubsado 3.0 your default
If links in your notification emails are still sending you to Dubsado 2.0, turn on Make Dubsado 3.0 your default on the Name & Sign-in page. This toggle controls whether links in notification emails send you to Dubsado 3.0 or Dubsado 2.0. Switching it to Yes keeps you in Dubsado 3.0 from those links.
Updating your name, email, and password
The Name & Sign-in page organizes your name, email, and password into their own sections, each with a link that expands an inline form for making changes.
Change your name
The name you enter here is used throughout Dubsado, and it's the name your emails are sent as.
In the Name section, click Change name.
Enter your First name and Last name.
Click Save, or click Cancel to discard your changes.
Change your email
You'll need to enter your current password before you can change your email, and you'll get a verification link at your new address to confirm the change.
In the Email section, click Change email.
In the Verify with your password window, enter your password to continue.
Enter your new address in the Email field that appears.
Click Save.
After you save, Dubsado sends a verification link to your new email address. A banner on the page lets you check your email for that link or request a new one if you need it.
If you signed up with Google single sign-on (SSO), the Email section shows your connected Google account instead of an editable field, since your Google account is what you use to log in. To change your email in that case, you'll need to disconnect your Google account first.
Change your password
Update your password directly from the Password section.
Click Change password.
Enter your Current password and New password.
Click Save.
Your new password must be at least 10 characters long.
If you signed up with Google single sign-on (SSO), you won't see a Password section here. Google SSO accounts log in through Google and don't use a separate Dubsado password.
Unable to log in
If you're having trouble logging in, try the following:
Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
Turn off browser extensions.
Use Google Chrome or Firefox.
Try a different network, in case a connection issue is blocking access.
If you're still unable to log in, contact support for help.
Bcc me on all outgoing email
Turn on Bcc me on all outgoing email to also receive a copy of every email you send through Dubsado in your regular inbox.
Only the workspace owner can be BCC'd this way. Team members (multi-users) can't be BCC'd on emails sent through Dubsado.
If you open the BCC'd copy from your regular inbox, Dubsado marks that email as read by the client.
FAQ
Why don't I see the option to change my email?
You're likely signed in with Google single sign-on (SSO). When your account is connected to Google, the Email section shows your Google account instead of an editable field. To change your email, disconnect your Google account first.
Can my team members be BCC'd on outgoing emails?
No. Only the workspace owner can be BCC'd on outgoing emails. Team members and multi-users can't be BCC'd on emails sent through Dubsado.
