Branding settings

Upload your logo, set your brand color, and update the contact information your clients see on invoices and in the client portal.

Written by Trevor

Your branding settings control what your clients see across Dubsado: your logo, your brand color, and your business contact information. These live on two pages in your settings: Styling (logo and brand color) and Business Info (your contact information, regional formatting, and business address).

Where your branding settings live

Both pages sit together so you can find everything that shapes what your clients see of your workspace in one place.

To get there, click your name in the bottom left corner of your page to open the user menu, then click Settings. In the settings sidebar, both Styling and Business Info appear under the Client-facing brand settings group.

The Business Info page

The Business Info page is organized into three sections: Contact Information, Locale & Currency, and Business Address.

Contact information

The Contact Information section holds the basic details clients see about your business.

  • Brand name: The name of your workspace or business. This is required, and it's the name clients see if you have more than one workspace.

  • Business email: The email address shown to clients on invoices and in the client portal.

  • Phone number: An optional phone number visible to clients on invoices and in the client portal.

  • Email sender name: Choose whether clients see your Personal name or your Business name as the "from" name on emails you send from Dubsado. Your personal name comes from your Name & Sign-in settings, and your business name is the Brand name field above.

Your business email, phone number, and address here are for display only. Connecting an email account to actually send and receive email in Dubsado is a separate step (Settings ➔ Emails).

Locale and currency

The Locale & Currency section controls how dates and currency amounts are formatted for you and your clients.

  • Locale: Determines how your dates and currency appear for your clients as well as in Dubsado.

  • Currency symbol override: Replaces the default currency symbol with one of your choosing.

A live preview below these fields shows how your dates and currency will render as you make changes.

Business address

The Business Address section is visible to your clients on invoices and legal documents. It includes:

  • Street address

  • Apartment, suite, etc. (optional)

  • City

  • State/Province

  • ZIP/Postal code

  • Country/Region

Click Save at the top of the Business Info page to apply changes across all three sections. The button is disabled until you've made a change, and shows Saving... while your update is in progress.

The Styling page

The Styling page holds a single section, Logo & Color, where you manage the logo and color that appear on your client-facing materials.

Uploading your logo

Your logo appears on your invoices and on the client portal login screen. To add or replace it:

  1. Open the Logo & Color section on the Styling page.

  2. Use the Logo uploader to select an image file.

  3. Confirm the upload.

A "Logo uploaded" message confirms the change. Recommended dimensions are 200 x 100px, and your file must be under 5 MB. JPG and PNG are the most common formats, though several other image formats are also accepted.

Setting your brand color

The Brand color field sets the color used for your form buttons and email links. A Button preview next to the field shows how a button looks in the color you choose before you save.

For the full walkthrough, including everywhere it shows up, see the guide on choosing a brand color.

Click Save to apply your changes on the Styling page. The button is disabled until you've made a change, and shows Saving... while your update is in progress.
