The mobile app can help you keep track of all of the clients you’re working with in Dubsado, even while you’re away from your computer.

Clients list overview

To access the client list, navigate to the More tab within the main navigation menu of the mobile app. There, tap Clients to view your client list.

The clients list functions similarly to the address book of the Dubsado desktop site, where you can view client details, update client information, and even add new clients.

The clients list displays all of your clients in alphabetical order by first name, and you can scroll up and down to view different clients.

In the top right corner of your screen, you can take additional actions. You can:

  • Tap the plus(+) icon to add a new client.

  • Tap the magnifying glass to search for a particular client.

If a client has a company saved in their address book entry, it is displayed underneath their name. Likewise, if a client has a profile picture saved to their address book entry, it is displayed next to their name. Otherwise, their initials are shown.

Inside of a client’s entry

Tap on a client’s name from the client list to view will their contact card, which displays all of the details you have saved for that client.

Here, you can tap and hold on a client’s email to copy it. You can also tap on a client’s phone number to call them, or tap on their address to get directions using your device’s native maps app.

In the top right of the screen, tap the vertical three dots icon to edit or delete the entry, or tap the paper icon to access the client’s notes and call logs.

Client notes and call logs

Tap the paper icon to view client notes and call logs.

Unlike project notes and call logs, client notes and call logs stick with the client and will appear within every project associated with that client.

To add a new client note or call log, tap the plus (+) icon in the top right of the screen to choose between a note or a call log.

  • When creating a new note, the current date is assigned to the note, by default.

  • When creating a new call log, you can tap on the date selector to pick a date other than the current date, and you can also set the time that the call occurred.

After you’re done composing your note or call log, tap Save in the top left of your screen to save your work and return to the client’s address book entry.

Editing an existing note or call log is simple - just tap on the entry’s card to open the text editor, and then tap Save to save your changes once you’re finished.

To delete an existing client note or call log, tap the three dots in the bottom right of the entry’s card and then tap Delete at the bottom of the screen.
