The Dubsado mobile app allows you to view, create, edit, and delete project notes while away from your desk or working on site.

Project notes overview

To access a project’s notes, select a project from the main Projects tab. Then, scroll through the tabs at the top of the screen and tap on Notes.

The Notes tab is split into two main sections: Project notes and Project call logs.

Project notes and project call logs that have been added to the project appear under their respective sub-tabs. All notes and call logs sync bidirectionally between desktop and mobile.

Unlike client notes and call logs, project notes and call logs are specific to the project where they were created, and they won’t appear within a client’s address book entry.

If you’ve saved any client notes to the current client’s address book entry, those client notes will appear in their own section underneath the project notes.

Creating and editing a note or call log

To create a new note or call log, tap +New in the top right corner of your screen.

Then, select Note or Call log at the bottom of the screen.

  • When creating a new note, the current date is assigned to the note, by default.

  • When creating a new call log, you can tap on the date selector to pick a date other than the current date, and you can also set the time that the call occurred.

After you’re done composing your note or call log, tap Save in the top left of your screen to save your work and return to the Notes tab of the project.

Editing an existing note or call log is simple - just tap on the entry’s card to open the text editor, and then tap Save to save your changes once you’re finished.

Deleting a note or call log

To delete a note or call log, tap the three dots (…) icon in the bottom right of the entry’s card. Then, tap Delete at the bottom of your screen.
