Viewing, applying, and editing invoice transactions in the mobile app

When viewing an individual invoice in the mobile app, tap Transactions to view, add, or edit transactions that are associated with that invoice.


Transactions tab

The transactions tab is split into three columns: transaction date, payment method, and transaction amount.

Each transaction is listed in chronological order, with newer transaction appearing at the bottom of the list.


View invoice transactions

Payments you have received or logged are listed in green text preceded by a plus sign, while refunds are listed in gray text preceded by a minus sign.


Apply invoice transactions

To manually apply a transaction to the current invoice:

  • Tap + Log new payment

  • Tap the date field to adjust the date, if necessary

    • the date field defaults to the current date

  • Tap the payment method dropdown to select a payment method

  • Enter an amount in the amount field

  • Optionally, add a payment description by typing into the description field

  • Tap Save to apply the payment to the invoice


Edit or delete invoice transactions

To edit or delete an invoice transaction, tap anywhere on that transaction’s date, payment method, or amount.

Then, tap Edit to update the transaction, or tap Delete to remove the transaction from the invoice.

Payments received via Dubsado Payments cannot be edited or removed from an invoice, so you won’t see the Edit or Delete options when you tap on these transactions.
