How to request a form template copy
You cannot copy form templates between workspaces on your own. The Dubsado Customer Care team handles this for you.
To request a form transfer, reach out via in-app chat or send an email to hello@dubsado.com. Include the following in your message:
The name of the workspace where the form template currently lives.
The name of the workspace where you want it copied.
The name(s) of the form template(s) you want copied (up to 10 per day).
The Customer Care team will copy the templates and let you know when they are ready. A copy of the form template remains in the original workspace.
Policies and limitations
There are a few policies in place to keep this process running smoothly.
Same-owner requirement — Both workspaces must be under the same account owner. If you are a team member on another person's workspace, you can request a copy as long as both workspaces share the same owner. The support team verifies ownership before fulfilling each request.
Daily limit — Requests are limited to 10 form template copies per day.
No commercial facilitation — The support team cannot copy form templates to facilitate sales or commercial transactions between users.
Only form templates are eligible for cross-workspace copying. Other template types (flows, custom email templates, packages, payment plans) and project data (invoices, completed forms, contact profiles) cannot be copied between workspaces.
FAQ
Can I move a form template instead of copying it?
No. The Customer Care team copies form templates; the original stays in its source workspace. If you no longer need the template in the original workspace, you can delete it after the copy is complete.
What if I need a template type other than a form template in another workspace?
Only form templates can be copied between workspaces. For other template types, you need to recreate them in the other workspace.
Can a team member request a form template copy?
Yes, as long as both workspaces are under the same account owner.
