We're happy to help you delete a workspace you no longer need. Because workspaces hold sensitive business and client data, our team handles the deletion for you, so here's how to request it.
Request a workspace deletion
Deleting a workspace isn't something you can do yourself in the moment. Instead, you mark the workspace you want removed, then reach out so our team can take it from there.
Only the Dubsado team can delete a workspace. Because workspaces hold sensitive information, this can't be done as a self-service action from your account.
Before you start, make sure you're in the workspace you added and actually want to delete. The workspace switcher shows your current workspace along with a list of your other workspaces, so it's easy to switch into the wrong one by mistake.
Confirm you are in the workspace you want to delete. Click your workspace's name in the top left corner of your page to open the workspace switcher, where you can check your current workspace and switch if needed.
Go to Settings ➔ Business info.
In the Business info card, edit the Brand name field to read DELETE THIS BRAND.
Click Save.
Cancel your subscription first
If the workspace you're deleting is on a paid subscription, cancel it before or alongside your deletion request. Deleting a workspace does not automatically stop its billing.
Deleting a workspace does not cancel its subscription. If the workspace is on a paid plan, cancel the subscription in Settings ➔ Billing first, or you may continue to be charged. We can also help transfer a paid subscription from one workspace to another if that's what you need instead.
Once you've saved the renamed workspace and handled billing, reach out to our Customer Care team through in-app chat or email us at hello@dubsado.com to let us know a workspace is ready to delete.
Deleting a workspace is permanent and cannot be undone. Be certain before you request it.
Deleting a workspace only affects the one you asked us to remove. Any other workspaces in your account, and everything in them, stay exactly as they are.
FAQ
Will deleting a workspace stop the billing automatically?
No. If the workspace is on a paid subscription, cancel it in Settings ➔ Billing first. We can also help transfer a paid subscription from one workspace to another.
Can I delete a workspace myself?
No. Because workspaces hold sensitive information, our team must delete a workspace for you. Follow the steps above to mark it for deletion, then reach out to us.
If I change my mind, can you restore a workspace I asked you to delete?
No. Deleting a workspace is permanent and can't be undone, so be certain before you write in.
What's the difference between cancelling and deleting a workspace?
Cancelling stops the paid subscription for a workspace but keeps the workspace and its data intact. Deleting permanently removes the workspace and everything in it.
