Once you have created and saved your lead capture form, you can embed it on your website or share a direct link with potential clients.

You'll need:

  • An active Dubsado subscription (trial users can test out the lead capture, but with the limit of 3 clients, we don't recommend sharing the form publicly until you are on a paid account)

  • A website if you would like to embed your form

  1. Go to Templates >> Forms and click on the lead capture form you'd like to share.

  2. Once inside your lead capture form, click the Share button in the upper right corner. This will open a pop up modal.

  3. Copy the Iframe Code to embed on your website or the Direct Link to share a URL to the form.

Let's take a closer look at embedding vs sharing the link...

Embedding Your Lead Capture Form

Embedding will display the lead capture form on your website. To embed the form, copy the iframe code from the Share window. This code needs to be pasted in your web builder or HTML to appear on your website.

👋 Here's a tip... If you already have a contact form on your website, you'll remove that form and replace it with your Dubsado lead capture!

Below are links to articles we have created on embedding your lead capture form using a variety of web builders. Please note that you may need to search your web builder's help center for the most up-to-date instructions!

If your web builder is not listed, please contact your web builder platform's support and ask for assistance with embedding your form.

No website? No problem! The direct link to the lead capture will open the form up in its own page that your potential clients can access. There is no need to host the form on your own website to use the direct link we provide.

If you're having difficulty embedding the form on your site, you can insert a button or simple text link that goes to the direct link URL. This is a good option if you cannot embed outside code on your website or are uncomfortable working with HTML.

Why can't I see the Share button on my form?

Only certain types of forms - lead captures and public proposals - are able to be shared with an embed code or direct link. Double check that you are trying to share the right type of form.

Nope! Once you save changes to your lead capture, those changes will update automatically on your website (if embedded) and at the direct link.

Yes you can! Both embedding the form and sharing the link will take clients to the same exact form with the same results.

I'd prefer to use my own form. Can I bring new leads into Dubsado through another software/plugin?

Yes! If your form is compatible with Zapier, you can set up a Zap to send new leads into Dubsado when your form is filled out. Check out our webinar series on Dubsado and Zapier.
